Elder locals come together at the Gatlinburg Inn and share stories of the “old days” in Gatlinburg.

Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales

Performers take to the streets telling tales of the Smoky Mountains in full costume.


Living History Civil Way Reenactment

Local performers act out the Battle of Burg hill complete with costume and demonstrations.


Midnight Independence Day Parade
July 3-4
Street party on the Parkway with fireworks starting at midnight to celebrate the nation’s birthday.


Gatlinburg River Raft Regatta
July 4
Homemade floats race down the Little Pigeon River to see whose reaches the finish line first.


“Stand Here” Fireworks Finale
July 4
A twenty minute long fireworks show at sunset on July 4 celebrating our independence.


Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair

Nearly 200 craftsmen assemble together to demonstrate, display and sale their goods.


Old Fashioned Wagon Rides

A wagon ride that takes you through roads giving you excellent views of the Smoky Mountains.


Fall Foliage in the Smokies

The trees of the Smokies start to change color with the season during these weeks in the Fall.


Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival

Locals decorate for fall and greet tourists with exhibits, hayrides, and many entertaining events.
